Job Description:

Position: MongoDB DBA

Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Dubai

MongoDB Administration:

• Cluster Management: Deploy, configure, and manage MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters.
• Sharding & Optimization: Analyze data distribution patterns, choose efficient Shard Keys, and maintain even data distribution across shards.
• Lifecycle Ops: Perform schema validation design, index strategy optimization, and run-time configurations.
• Tooling: Utilize MongoDB Atlas, Ops Manager, and native binaries to monitor collection-level performance.

Apache Cassandra Administration:

• Cluster Architecture: Install, configure, and scale high-volume Cassandra clusters across multiple regions and availability zones.
• Ring Performance: Manage write/read paths, compaction strategies, and node performance.

Cross-Database Infrastructure & Operations:

• High Availability & DR: Design and test failover drills, backup strategies, and robust disaster recovery solutions.
• Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot data consistency errors, investigate slow queries, isolate bottlenecks, and optimize execution profiles.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce role-based access control (RBAC), IAM policies, and data encryption at rest and in transit.
• Global Standards: Ensure strict alignment with regional standards like the UAE PDPL or GDPR.
