Summary
Supervises students in a school setting, ensuring safety, order, and proper dismissal procedures during school hours, including cafeteria, recess, and bus activities.
About the Position: Santa Rita is located on the southwest coast of the beautiful island country of Guam. Federal employees in Guam are currently entitled to receive a 11.88% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary (amount is subject to change). Some Federal employees are entitled to a 20% Post Differential Allowance if eligible (subject to change). The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA).
Identify and report known or suspected problems, issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member, or other official.
Assemble students and monitor their dismissal and movement through the hallways/cafeteria.
Monitor lunchroom activities to maintain order.
Maintain order and safety in recess areas to prevent unsafe/dangerous practices.
Ensure students are safely entering and exiting school buses and students are placed on the appropriate bus when departing for home.
