About us
Highpoint Health- Sumner has been providing quality health care to Middle TN for 65 years. Since opening in 1959, we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Today, we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.
How you'll contribute
As a Monitor Technician joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This includes:
- Performing continual surveillance of multiple monitors
- Identifying significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately
- Reporting abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
- Testing equipment for proper working order and reports problems to supervisor
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer
