As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our operations across West and South West London, and we are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team at a professional veterinary clinic in Twickenham (TW1).
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the clinic, ensuring the highest standards are consistently achieved.
📍 Location:
TW1 – Twickenham, South West London
📅 Start Date:
ASAP
🕒 Working Hours:
Monday – Friday
6:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Total: 15 hours per week
💷 Pay Rate:
£14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning clinical rooms, treatment areas, and work surfaces
Cleaning operating tables and veterinary areas
Hoovering, mopping, and steam cleaning floors
Cleaning reception areas, offices, kitchen facilities, toilets, and shower areas
Emptying general waste and recycling bins
Following hygiene and infection control procedures
Maintaining consistently high cleaning standards throughout the clinic
Important Information:
This role is based within a veterinary clinic environment. Applicants must be comfortable working around animals and must not have pet allergies or a fear of animals.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional cleaning experience in the UK
Previous experience in office, healthcare, or clinical cleaning is highly desirable
Experience using steam cleaning equipment is an advantage
Good English communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures
