Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Description

Echelon Home Loans is seeking a relationship-driven Loan Officer (LO) to join a well-supported, high-visibility mortgage platform integrated with three high-producing Keller Williams market centers in Florida. This role is designed for an LO who wants meaningful opportunity without being left on an island.

You will step into an environment with immediate access to active real estate offices and leadership that is intentionally encouraging agent adoption of Echelon as the preferred lending partner. While referrals are actively supported, success in this role still requires personal initiative, presence, and relationship building. This is not a passive role — it is a leadership-facing position inside the offices.

You will be backed by a collaborative internal team, including concierge support, processing support, leadership alignment, and technology systems built to reduce friction and improve close rates. The expectation is not that you “do everything yourself,” but that you own the borrower and agent relationship while the team supports execution.

This is an opportunity for a Loan Officer who wants to be embedded in the business, visible to agents, trusted by leadership, and positioned for long-term growth — not just transactional volume.

Benefits

  • Flexible Schedule
  • Career Growth Opportunities
  • Health Insurance
  • Hands on Training

Responsibilities

Responsabilities:

• Originate residential mortgage loans including conventional, FHA, VA, and other applicable products

• Actively build and maintain relationships with agents across three Keller Williams offices

• Establish a strong, visible presence inside the offices through regular attendance, availability, and engagement

• Teach lending-related classes, lunch-and-learns, and training sessions to educate and support agents

• Attend office events, team meetings, and recruiting or educational functions as a representative of Echelon

• Serve as a trusted lending resource for agents by providing guidance, strategy, and timely communication

• Manage the borrower experience from first conversation through closing with professionalism and clarity

• Partner with internal processing, underwriting, and concierge teams to ensure smooth, on-time closings

• Proactively identify issues and solve them before they impact contracts or client confidence

• Maintain accurate, compliant loan documentation and CRM records

• Uphold Echelon’s service standards, response expectations, and culture of accountability

Requirements

Requirements:

• Active NMLS license (Florida required; additional states a plus)

• 2+ years of residential mortgage origination experience preferred

• Comfortable operating in a relationship-based, referral-driven environment

• Willingness to be physically present and visible inside multiple offices on a regular basis

• Strong communication skills with agents, buyers, sellers, and internal team members

• Ability to educate and influence without being pushy or transactional

• High personal accountability and consistent follow-through

• Team-oriented mindset with appreciation for shared success

• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple active files

• Comfortable using modern mortgage technology and CRM systems

This role offers built-in opportunity and strong support, but success still comes from showing up, adding value, and earning trust. The Loan Officer who thrives here is visible, proactive, service-minded, and committed to long-term relationships.
