MOT Tester & Diagnostic Technician (£42k | Free Ramp Access for Project Cars | Letchworth)

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM + just one Saturday morning per month

Role Overview Seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our busy, professional independent workshop team near Letchworth and Hitchin. You will step away from basic oil changes to tackle everything from official MOT testing and advanced electrical diagnostics to complex engine rebuilds and specialist retrofit projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional workshop experience in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Repair (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Active DVSA MOT Tester Licence (highly valued).
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
