About the Role

BIC is seeking an experienced Moulding Manager to oversee and optimise its injection workshop operations, improve production efficiency, manage resources and ensure quality, safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily injection workshop production and ensure availability of raw materials, components and resources.
• Develop and monitor production schedules, output and employee productivity.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
• Support new product launches and investments in machines and equipment.
• Coordinate inventory activities and train new machine operators and setters.
• Enforce manufacturing procedures and implement corrective actions to reduce defects.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of production machines, moulds and auxiliary equipment.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and monitor machine safety.
• Supervise workshop employees, assign duties and evaluate performance.
• Implement the Quality Management System and continuous improvement plans.
• Promote environmental compliance and responsible production practices.

Requirements

• BSc or Higher National Technician Diploma in Plastics Processing (Plasturgy), Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment, preferably in a multinational plastics manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of plastics processing techniques.
• Knowledge of injection moulding machine setup and adjustment, including single-material and multi-material moulds.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage challenging situations and collaborate across teams.
