Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the materials preparation area supporting Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Dual In-line Package (DIP) production lines. This role ensures timely and accurate preparation, kitting, and delivery of electronic components and materials to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Leads a team of material handlers and group leaders, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires close coordination with production, warehouse, engineering, and quality departments to resolve material-related issues and optimize workflow efficiency. .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the SMT/DIP materials preparation area.
• Ensure timely kitting and delivery of materials to production lines.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse to prevent shortages or excess.
• Implement and maintain 6S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material discrepancies and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions and ensure ERP system updates.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Form and lead the MPA department’s M360 dialogue meeting.
