Summary
Operates MRI equipment to perform medical imaging scans, follows safety protocols, and ensures patient care in a clinical setting.

Position Summary: The position is responsible for following policies and procedures according to established Imaging Services guidelines. Delivers quality customer service, and effectively utilizes resources. Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety, and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety. This position reports to the MR Supervisor.
Experience · Required: 0-3 years MR experience · Preferred: 3 years or greater MR experience · Preferred: Cardiac MR experience. |

Education · Required: Craft or technical school of up to 2 years duration |

License and Credentials

Skills · Must possess a thorough, working knowledge of MR exams and equipment. · Good organizational skills and time management, works well under pressure · Knowledge of total body cross-sectional anatomy and pathology · Excellent written/oral communication skills required. · Must be able to work effectively with a diverse group of people. Must be able to teach, coach and mentor staff.
Hours: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, (7:30a-4:00p M-F) ], no nights, no call, no holidays The minimum starting rate for this position is $35.31 When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
