As an MRI tech you will perform examinations to create detailed images of the body's organs, tissues, and structures for diagnostic purposes. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions while providing compassionate care and maintaining a positive patient experience.

What You Will Do
Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values
Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist, and, once orientation and training are completed, independently conducts scans if ARRT-registered.
Patient care during visit to MRI
Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment
Assures a safe and clean environment
Maintains knowledge of technical skills
Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment
Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing special procedure technology in the MR area
Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department
Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with co-workers and clinical staff
Clear knowledge of modality specific equipment, computers, PACS, EMR and RIS.
Additional Responsibilities
Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including MR scanners, power injectors, and various computers. Must demonstrate effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform procedures specific to the area. Answers phones and arranges schedule for in-patient request Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and coworkers
