Summary
Performs MRI scans, ensures high-quality diagnostic images, and sends studies to radiologists for review while providing patient care.

Job Type: Full Time
Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
- Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.
Education:
Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program or graduate of a military Radiologic imaging program or documented equivalency.
Preferred: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree
Experience:
Preferred: 1-3 years
Certifications:
Required: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire. AHA BLS. State license if required
Preferred: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential.
