MRO Analyst

Summary

An MRO Analyst manages inventory, tracks stock levels, and collaborates with vendors to optimize supply chain efficiency using systems like TAI and Infor XA.

The MRO Analyst will help to support the purchasing department by monitoring inventory, maintaining accurate data, reducing costs and interacting with vendors.

Responsibilities

· Work with departments to monitor stock levels and establish reorder points for parts, tools, and consumables.

· Assist with accurately issuing parts out and processing returned materials.

· Keep all stock areas clean and organized using proper 5S layout methods and labeling

· Assist planning and performing regular physical inventories and cycle counts to verify on hand stock

· Audit stock levels, reduce excess and obsolete items

· Advise on dead and slow-moving inventory for possible disposition and effective disposal

· Assist purchasing necessary MRO materials, following up on quotes, entering requisitions

· Follow up with vendors about price discrepancies, past due orders and tracking critical items.

· Monitor vendor lead times, resolve shipping discrepancies

· Assist with collecting, entering data and complete set up for MRO tracking system TAI (Technologies Application and Information)

· Entering requisitions in Ereq with knowledge of Infor XA (formerly MAPICS) for updating delivery dates, changing stock locations.

· Maintain records any digital or hard files of MRO counts when necessary.

· Assist with month end MRO inventory reporting

· Back up for Indirect Purchasing Manager when needed.

· Other duties as assigned
