MRO Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced MRO Procurement Specialist to join our team in Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and procurement, particularly in the areas of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and Capex (Capital Expenditure). This role is crucial for ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently by managing the procurement of essential materials and services. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MRO consumables and industrial spares to optimize costs and improve supplier performance. - Conduct RFx processes to identify and engage with potential suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and procurement policies. - Analyze spend data and perform spend analytics to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier rationalization. - Negotiate rate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and finance, to align procurement strategies with business objectives. - Utilize procurement software such as SAP, Coupa, and Ariba to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate records. - Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality and delivery standards are met. Required Skills: - Proven experience in MRO sourcing and procurement, with a strong understanding of the manufacturing sector. - Proficiency in spend analytics and cost-saving strategies. - Familiarity with procurement software tools, including SAP, Coupa, and Ariba. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
