MS Azure DevOps Specialist
Summary
Build and maintain .NET web apps and APIs hosted on Azure, automate deployments with GitHub Actions, and enforce secure CI/CD practices while collaborating with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements.
- Design and develop scalable and secure .NET web applications (e.g. marketing systems, websites, microsites) and APIs.
- Maintain backend services and application components hosted in Azure.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to automate deployment workflows for Azure-hosted applications.
- Maintain web application security by performing security scans, code review and implementing best practices in authentication, authorization, data protection and secure coding.
- Support cloud security inspection.
- Responsible for application integration testing, user acceptance test and implementation roll-out.
- Create user documentation and provide training to end-users.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3-5 years of web development working experience.
- Cloud development experience with Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage).
- Hands-on experience with application and DB setup on web servers, including secure data encryption.
- Experience creating and managing GitHub Actions workflows, with strong understanding of secure CI/CD practices, including code signing, credential management and integrating security scans into pipelines.
- Strong understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities
- Knowledge in other web programming languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, Webpack, npm, Jest, Jasmine) is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools, particularly Adobe Analytics tagging implementation, is a plus.
