MS Fabric Implementation Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable enterprise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse with Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architecture.
- Build hybrid batch and near-real-time data pipelines integrating on-premise SQL Server, legacy systems, and cross-cloud data sources.
- Develop optimized data models with partitioning, indexing, versioning, lineage, reconciliation, and rerun capabilities.
- Implement DevOps/DataOps practices, including Git-based version control, CI/CD, and automated Dev/UAT/Prod deployments.
- Enable high-performance Power BI analytics through curated Gold-layer datasets, aggregation, incremental refresh, and query optimization.
- Ensure secure, governed, auditable, and scalable data operations through effective access control and enterprise standards.
Skills Required
- 10+ years of Data Engineering/Data Solution experience with 2+ years of Microsoft Fabric expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Fabric OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Data Warehouse, medallion architecture, and workspace management.
- Experience in hybrid/cross-cloud integration, real-time or streaming pipelines, workflow orchestration, and data security/RBAC.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, data modeling, partitioning, performance optimization, governance, audit, and compliance.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD; knowledge of ADF, Synapse, Event Hub, Kafka, or event-driven architectures is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with experience delivering solutions in regulated/financial environments preferred
