Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MS Project Administrator / Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Microsoft Project (MS Project). The ideal candidate will support Project Managers by creating accurate, resource-loaded schedules, managing task dependencies, performing critical path analysis, and ensuring projects are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (MS Project).
  • Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Define and maintain task dependencies, predecessors, successors, and scheduling relationships.
  • Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and identify schedule risks.
  • Establish project baselines and monitor schedule performance.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.
  • Perform resource planning, allocation, and resource leveling.
  • Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare project reports, dashboards, Gantt charts, and executive status reports.
  • Monitor project KPIs and schedule performance metrics.
  • Maintain project documentation, scheduling records, and change logs.
  • Support project risk assessments and change impact analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide scheduling insights.


Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MS Project).
  • Excellent understanding of Project Scheduling and Critical Path Method (CPM).
  • Experience managing:
    • Task Dependencies
    • Predecessors & Successors
    • Milestones
    • Constraints
    • Project Baselines
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Resource Planning, Resource Allocation, and Resource Leveling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

  • Integrated project schedule development and maintenance.
  • Schedule base-lining, progress tracking, forecasting, and schedule recovery planning.
  • Resource planning, capacity planning, and schedule optimization.
  • Project risk management and change control.
  • Preparing management reports, dashboards, and project performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Project Scheduling, Project Coordination, PMO, or Project Administration.
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Project for project planning and schedule management.
  • Experience in Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, IT, EPC, Infrastructure, or similar project-based industries is preferred.
  • PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Microsoft Project Certification is an added advantage.
