Role Overview
Tech Avenue is seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our fast-growing team as Management Trainee Officers (MTOs) in Full Stack Development. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or junior developers (0-2 years experience) who have foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in web development, programming, and backend systems.
As an MTO, you'll work closely with senior developers on real-world projects, contribute to innovative solutions, and grow your technical skills in a collaborative, learning-focused environment. Key Responsibilities
- Work on both frontend and backend development, including UI implementation, API development, and database management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and project managers
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews, daily agile scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into web applications
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and ensure responsive design
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve product functionality, user experience, and development workflows
- Learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools under the guidance of senior developers
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience (Fresh graduates with strong academic projects, internships, or freelance work are encouraged to apply)
- Hands-on experience through final year projects, internships, hackathons, or freelance assignments is preferred
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with backend development using Python (Django/Flask) or Node.js (Express.js)
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and writing basic SQL queries
- Familiarity with RESTful API concepts and integration
- Experience with Git-based version control (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
