Role Summary

Software Engineer is a highly capable of leading design, development, testting, and delivers scalable technology solutions with increasing independence. This role translates business and functional requirements into technical solutions and owns feature delivery across the application stack. The engineer works across integration, backend development, cloud services, APIs, data processing, and platform components using technologies such as MuleSoft, Python, SQL, AWS, and Salesforce.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders. The engineer is also expected to mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering excellence through best practices, automation, and continuous improvement.

Solution Design & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, integrations, APIs, and platform services.

Application Integration & Data Processing

• Design and develop integrations between enterprise systems.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines and database solutions.
• Implement API-driven and event-driven integrations.
• Ensure reliable data movement, transformation, and synchronization across platforms.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Own end-to-end testing activities for delivered features.
• Develop unit, integration, functional, and regression tests.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement preventive improvements.

Cloud & DevOps

• Build and deploy solutions on AWS.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
• Monitor application performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Support infrastructure and application observability initiatives.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure solutions are well documented for maintainability and operational support.
• Share knowledge across the engineering team through technical sessions and code walkthroughs.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog grooming, story estimation, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best-practice sharing.
• Promote engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.
