Mulesoft / Java Software Developer

About the Role

For a large financial organisation, we are looking for a MuleSoft / Java Developer.

The project focuses on building and maintaining integrations between an Execution Management System and a Data Science platform. Real-time data is enriched with Bloomberg data and processed through Azure. The organisation is currently moving away from MuleSoft towards an Azure-based integration landscape, so this role will also contribute to that transition.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy integrations between the EMS and Data Science platform.
• Build and maintain APIs and integration services using MuleSoft and Java.
• Support the migration of existing integrations from MuleSoft to Azure.
• Integrate real-time trading data with Bloomberg data.
• Configure and maintain Azure Event Hub connectivity.
• Ensure reliable two-way data flows between trading systems and Data Science algorithms.
• Troubleshoot and optimise integrations in a production environment.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
• REST APIs, RAML and JSON
• Experience with event-driven or real-time integrations
• Experience developing and deploying production-grade interfaces
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience migrating integrations from MuleSoft to Azure
• Bloomberg integrations
• Financial services or trading systems
• OAuth
• Experience working with Data Science platforms
