Multi Asset Dealer

We are building a new multi-asset trading desk covering structured products, fixed income, equities, funds and FX. The role is initially execution-focused, with responsibilities broadening across the scope below as the desk's mandate develops. Structured product training will be provided, no prior knowledge is assumed. We are looking for aptitude, curiosity and speed of learning more than a completed checklist.

Responsibilities

1. Support the generation of customised structured product trade ideas based on client portfolios, risk profiles, and historical investment behaviour

2. Work closely with Portfolio Management team and Front Office persons on pricing and execution of trades and trade ideas. To provide internal advisory and have consistent interaction with the front office for idea generation.

3. Providing cash equity and fixed income execution support

4. Ensuring accurate and proper execution of orders

5. Support the end to end documentation and sales process cycle for product/idea generation

6. Analyse payoffs, scenarios, and risks to ensure suitability and clarity of trade ideas

7. Contribute to translating investment logic into repeatable and rule-based idea generation frameworks

8. Work with product, tech, and operations teams to implement idea generation into internal systems

9. Support preparation of payoff illustrations, trade rationales, and client-facing materials

10. Monitor market conditions and identify opportunities relevant to structured products

11. Maintain daily trading controls including trade booking, booking checks, reconciliations, and escalation of exceptions

12. Build and maintain desk tools and workflows to support execution, monitoring, and reporting

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or above (Finance or related discipline)

- 1–3 years' experience in a dealing, execution, or trade support role; candidates with less experience but strong aptitude will be considered. Applications are also welcome from middle office, product control, and operations backgrounds looking to move front office.

- Working knowledge of either cash equity, fixed income or structured product trade flow.

- Comfortable working in Excel, including tracing and troubleshooting a workbook you did not build. Interest in identifying and improving manual, repetitive processes. Formal coding experience is not required.

- Familiarity with Bloomberg

- Detail-oriented and process-disciplined; comfortable working in a desk build-out phase where workflows are not yet fixed

- Good command of English and Mandarin

Advantageous

- VBA or Python

- Exposure to OTC structured products (e.g. FCN, accumulator/decumulator)

- Tradeweb or a comparable fixed income execution platform

- Experience supporting a new desk or business build-out
