Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE + Overtime at 1.5x

Shift: Days
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business at its production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer to join a busy industrial environment, playing a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting production operations.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns efficiently.
- Undertake mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with PLC fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Install, commission and test new equipment where required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Support root cause analysis of recurring faults.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in FMCG or process manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- PLC fault-finding experience.
- Relevant engineering qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- 18th Edition qualification would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x.
- 20 days' annual holiday, plus bank holidays where applicable.
