Job DescriptionLocation: West YorkshireSalary: £44,000 - £48,000Shift: 3 Shift PatternContract: PermanentWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client at their busy distribution centre in West Yorkshire.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of machinery, including storage retrieval systems, conveyors, A frames, box erectors, totes, banding machinery to name a few.Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime.Carrying out fault-finding on motors, sensors, drives, control systems, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.Installing, modifying, and commissioning equipment where required.Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing relevant documentation.Working closely with production and other departments to resolve engineering issues.Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company health & safety procedures.Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised engineering environment.Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Multi Skilled Maintenance TechnicianMinimum Level 3 Qualification or EquivalentExperience with fault finding, continuous improvementsPrevious experience in a maintenance role within the Engineering & Manufacturing sectorStrong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.Experience with CMMS systems.Salary and Benefits of a Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerSalary £44,000 - £48,0003 Shift PatternMornings, Afternoons, Nights22 Days HolidayTraining ProgramsHigh Street DiscountIf you are looking for a new challenge and would like more information about this or any of our other roles please give the team a call on 07443 359151TPBN1_UKTJ
