Multi-Skilled Welder

About the Role

We are hiring a skilled Multi-Skilled Welder to support maintenance, repair, and fabrication activities within a catering and facilities management environment. The role involves working on a variety of metal components and equipment, ensuring durable repairs and high-quality welding finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute TIG/Argon, MIG, and Arc welding on different metal components and structures.

• Perform stainless-steel and carbon-steel fabrication, modification, and repair work.

• Maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, piping systems, storage tanks, metal supports, and structural frames.

• Complete metal cutting, grinding, drilling, alignment, fitting, and finishing tasks.

• Assess damaged components and determine appropriate repair methods.

• Check completed welds for defects, consistency, and finishing quality.

• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to complete assigned jobs efficiently.

• Comply with hot-work permits, PPE requirements, and established safety standards.

Requirements

• Trade certificate or technical qualification in Welding, Metal Fabrication, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of hands-on welding experience.

• Advanced practical knowledge of TIG/Argon welding, especially stainless-steel applications.

• Working proficiency in MIG and Arc welding.

• Experience in equipment repairs, metal fabrication, and general maintenance work.

• Ability to manage tasks independently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
