Multidisciplinary Graphic Designer

Discussion

Summary

Contract (10–20 hrs/week, with a path to full-time) multidisciplinary graphic designer at W.Bradford, a B2B brand and marketing agency serving manufacturers. Day to day: brand identity systems, product launch campaigns, print/digital collateral, decks, trade show graphics, web layouts and light motion, working in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

W.Bradford is a B2B brand and marketing agency. Most of our clients are manufacturers, concentrated in commercial and architectural lighting, and the work has to hold up in front of engineers, specifiers, distributors and executives. Our campaigns win industry awards. We need designers who can keep that standard on a deadline.

The role

This is an hourly contract for 10 to 20 hours a week to start. You’ll work with our Head of Creative across active client programs, taking on assignments that move between disciplines in the same week. For the right person, this becomes a full-time role. We’re hiring for contract work now, and we’ll be watching for who earns the next step.

What you’ll work on

  • Brand identity systems, guidelines and logo refinements
  • Product launch campaigns, from concept through rollout
  • Sales collateral, spec sheets, brochures and leave-behinds
  • Presentation decks for client boardrooms and new business
  • Trade show graphics and event materials
  • Social, email and digital ad creative
  • Web page design and layouts for development handoff
  • Light motion work for social and launch assets

What you bring

  • At least four years of professional design experience, with meaningful time spent at or for marketing agencies. This is required. We need someone who already knows how agency work moves: multiple clients, fast turnarounds, rounds of feedback, and briefs that change.
  • A portfolio that shows range across print, digital and brand, with work that solves a business problem rather than just looking good
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Canva and motion tools (After Effects or similar) are a plus.
  • Strong typography, layout and hierarchy instincts
  • The ability to take a brief, ask the right questions once, and deliver work that needs refinement rather than rework
  • Reliable availability during Eastern Time business hours and clear communication about capacity
  • B2B, manufacturing, industrial or technical product experience is a strong advantage

How it works

Fully remote. Hourly rate of $30–$50/hour, based on experience and fit. Time is tracked and invoiced monthly.

To apply

Send your portfolio and a short note covering your agency experience, your hourly rate, and your weekly availability. Applications without a portfolio won’t be reviewed.
