.NET DEVELOPERS X 4
Start ASAP until 30 June 2027 + 12 months extension contract | Must have NV1 clearance | Hybrid working arrangement in office located in Canberra CBD | APS6 equivalent
.Net Developers will be required to work with the project team to uplift the existing code and deliver the requirements for enhancements and improvements.
Key duties and responsibilities:
.Net Developers will be responsible for, but not limited, to:
Participating in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and enhance a C# based, n-tier, enterprise software and associated documentation in accordance with the client's standards.
Developing automated application build and deployment scripts using .NET (Framework and modern .NET), and the broader Microsoft technology stack.
Following the Agile Methodology for software development using tools such as Azure DevOps.
Liaising with technical and business area staff to facilitate the rapid resolution of issues and/or faults within fielded production.
Providing analysis on complex issues and contributing to the management, preparation, and coordination of policy formulation and/or project management.
Developing and supporting key internal and external relationships, including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals and represent the agency by promoting its interests in various forums.
Providing accurate specialist advice, guidance, and reporting on team functional responsibilities.
Making and communicating decisions using good judgement, expertise, and knowledge, governed by legislation, regulations, best practice principles or relevant operating instructions and procedures.
Contributing to doctrine, election preparation and delivery activities in accordance with the election readiness framework, according to individual accountabilities and responsibilities.
Perform additional responsibilities as required and directed by the relevant Director/Team Leader or delegate.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies and documentation.
Experience with Visual Studio.
Backend development experience using web API and SQL technologies.
Demonstrated experience in SDLC.
Strong experience with automated build and deployment scripting in .NET (Framework and modern .NET).
Demonstrated experience with cloud-based applications development.
Ability to produce well designed, documented, and testable code.
Peer review of developed products and scripts.
Knowledge and experience in successfully setting priorities and delivering quality results on time and on budget.
Proven ability to communicate effectively whilst anticipating stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network.
Proven analytical abilities with the ability to propose and facilitate change and contribute to business improvement strategies.
Demonstrated personal integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and policy parameters.
Proficiency in using various IT applications and project management tools, including the MS Suite, Azure DevOps, and Miro or similar.
Desirable criteria:
Minimum 3 years experience in service desk support, knowledgebase development, or similar.
Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst x 1
Initial contract duration 12 months + 12 months extension option | Must have NV1 clearance | Full-time onsite attendance required in Canberra CBD | APS6 equivalent
This is a surge role up to 45 hours per week. The analyst will support the cyber security GRC activities for a resilience uplift program and will report to the agency's cyber security team.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Within the program, the role will be responsible for various cyber functions, including but not limited to:
Contributing to solution design for security considerations;
Review and provide recommendations to develop security requirements;
Develop communications and documentation for senior executive decision making;
Support the coordination of security assurance processes including IRAP and penetration testing;
Lead the development of formal security documentation.
Selection criteria:
Knowledge of the Information Security Manual, Protective Security Policy Framework and Essential Eight
Demonstrated experience and capability performing a cyber security GRC role.
Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder or client interactions to achieve an outcome.
Demonstrated experience in developing GRC documentation
Desirable criteria:
Minimum 5 years experience in related roles
IT Support Officer (Helpdesk) x 1
Contract duration: 3 months + 3 months extension option | Must have Baseline clearance | Full-time onsite attendance required in Barton office | APS5 equivalent
The ICT Support Officer provides frontline ICT support services to client's staff in Australia and overseas. The role is responsible for responding to helpdesk requests, resolving routine ICT issues, maintaining accurate service records, and supporting the deployment and management of ICT equipment.
Working as part of the Business Systems Unit (BSU), the position contributes to the delivery of reliable and customer-focused ICT services while supporting broader ICT projects and operational activities. The role requires strong communication skills, sound problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Provide ICT support for hardware, software, network, account and device issues.
Triage, resolve and escalate service requests and incidents in line with service levels.
Administer user accounts, systems, devices, software and ICT asset records.
Support ICT projects, upgrades, testing, rollouts and implementation activities.
Prepare and update ICT procedures, user guides and knowledge articles.
Liaise with staff, vendors and service providers to support ICT service delivery.
Identify recurring issues and contribute to service and process improvements.
Support cyber security controls, patching, access management and incident reporting.
As this is a Helpdesk role, and will require maintenance of user and building ICT hardware, this role is 100% office-based

Demonstrated experience providing responsive ICT support in the Australian Public Service, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, maintaining ICT systems and contributing to reliable service delivery in a Microsoft on-prem & cloud environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyse ICT issues, apply sound judgement, identify risks, develop practical solutions, and make recommendations that improve systems, processes, or user outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing advice and supporting users with ICT issues.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, monitor progress, meet deadlines, support ICT projects or operational tasks, and deliver quality outcomes in a busy service environment.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, support team capability, act with professionalism and integrity, follow ICT security and governance requirements, and contribute positively to APS workplace culture.
