Multipurpose Assistant - Fruit, Bakery and Cashier

About the role

YOUR MISSION WILL BE: To support the management of the fruit, bread, and checkout sections, guaranteeing the correct handling, preparation, preservation, and presentation of the product, as well as adequate customer service and compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.

What you'll do

Product management: - Assistance with Section Setup, Handling, Maintenance, and preservation of the product.

Commercial management and customer service: To enhance the customer's purchasing decision based on adequate guidance and advice by transmitting information about the product, quality, etc.

Management of relationships within the team: - Support to the Section Head

Management regarding food quality and health and safety: - Expiry date control, Cleaning of the section following legal regulations, Proper use of PPE.

What we're looking for

- Basic qualification: Intermediate Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio) or ESO.

- Professional experience: Minimum 6 months in the required position.

Experience and skill in the handling of tools and equipment specific to the fruit, bread, and checkout section.

Knowledge regarding product handling, preservation, and preparation.

Knowledge in food handling, allergens, and HACCP regulations (food safety).
