This role is predominantly service and small works focused, with remedials and some fault finding and repairs as required. Coverage is across London within the M25. While strong fire alarm experience is essential, the position does have a slightly stronger bias towards security systems, particularly intruder, access control and CCTV.

Above average employer pension contribution

Ongoing training including FIA, BAFE, BS5839 and manufacturer courses

Clear progression across fire and security disciplines

What you’ll be doing:

Servicing, maintenance, fault finding and conducting small works

Strong focus on fire alarms, both addressable and conventional

Security systems including intruder alarms, access control and CCTV, forming a significant part of the workload

Emergency lighting, compliance tasks and remedial works

Covering mainly North London, with some work inside the M25

All travel time paid, door to door

What you’ll need:

Proven experience with fire alarm systems, both addressable and conventional

Strong working knowledge of intruder alarms, access control and CCTV

Knowledge of systems such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Morley or Gent

Good understanding of BS5839 and fire and security compliance

Full UK driving licence

Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
