Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you will play a key role in planned maintenance, reactive support, and continuous improvement initiatives to keep production running smoothly. You'll be working on Panama shift rota (2-week rotation covering days and nights, 2-2-3 pattern).
Key Duties
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across plant machinery and equipment
- Provide a rapid and effective response to breakdowns to minimise operational downtime
- Identify and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Work closely with production teams to ensure optimal machine performance
- Assist with improvement initiatives, including upgrades and process enhancements
- Accurately log maintenance activity and ensure adherence to health & safety procedures
- Hold a recognised engineering qualification (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)
- Experienced within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capability
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team
