Murex Datamart Consultant

Functional Title: MUREX Report architect

Job Description:

Essential Skills:

• Mimum 4 years in the IT experience.

• 3+ years of MUREX report development experience in the financial industry, direct experience with treasury business is preferred.

• Strong Murex Mx3.1 datamart development and support experience in mission critical systems in financial industry.

• Strong in Murex 3.1 datamart schema, viewer developments.

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

• Strong Experience in fine tuning reports the optimization technique with reports.

Preferred skills:

• Experience in report architecture and design, good and thorough understanding of bank’s front office and back office operations, finance and accounting.

• Good knowledge of treasury products

• Experience in Unix, preferably Linux(Redhat) and Solaris to the level of checking processes, writing shell scripts and checking log files.

• Strong in Oracle 10g/11G, SQL, PL-SQL

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Development and support of MUREX reports for the treasury business

• A specialist function to develop and support Murex 3.1 datamart and reports

• Ability to query and analyse business reporting requirements

• Convert the business requirements into quality physical report delivery

• Can develop and support the reports with minimal supervision or guidance
