Consultant provides first-level support and configuration management for a bank’s Murex trading platform, handling environment setup, database tasks, and Unix/Oracle operations.
Project description
One of our banking customer is looking for the Murex Environment management consultant for their existing team.
Responsibilities
- Act as first-level support for already deployed Murex products, redirecting and following the issues with the corresponding support teams
- Configuration Management
- Use Murex configuration management tools to import/export configuration items and analyse related issues
- Apply the configuration management methodologies
- Perform database sanitization and purging procedures
SKILLS
Must have
- 8+ years of relevant Murex experience in configuration & environment management
- Scripting (Perl, awk), SQL, Unix, XML, RDBMS operations
- Basic understanding of Market risk, MRE/MRA, and batch & feeder config.
- Good Knowledge of Unix- Shell Scripting & Oracle DB
- Strong knowledge and hands-on with Murex server architecture: Launcher configurations/Services/Load Balancing
- Possess good knowledge of server infrastructure and Databases (Oracle)
