We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale Murex Front-to-Back Capital Markets implementation project, driving end-to-end delivery and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Murex Capital Markets solutions using Waterfall and Agile methodologies to deliver projects on time and within scope
- Manage full project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and go-live to ensure seamless delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, risk registers, and resource allocation to optimize project performance
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including Murex consultants, Business Analysts, PMO, client stakeholders, and implementation partners to achieve project goals
- Implement project governance frameworks, conduct capacity planning, manage issues, and mitigate risks to maintain project health
- Oversee project financials, including reporting, client invoicing, and project P&L management to ensure financial accountability
- Engage with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors to manage expectations and communicate project progress effectively
- Drive resolution of project escalations and critical issues through crisis management and problem-solving
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to project estimation, solution planning, proposal reviews, and client presentations to secure new business
- Advocate and apply Murex implementation best practices and delivery methodologies to enhance project quality and efficiency
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven expertise in project management with at least 2 years managing Capital Markets, Treasury, Trading, or Banking Technology projects
- Experience managing full lifecycle software implementation projects in vendor or consulting environments
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills to influence and guide diverse teams
- Ability to manage multicultural and geographically distributed teams effectively
- Proficient in project governance, budgeting, risk management, and resource planning
- Excellent English communication skills to facilitate clear and effective collaboration
- Strong project management expertise demonstrated through successful delivery of complex banking or financial technology implementations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related discipline
- 10+ years of overall professional experience
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications are advantageous
Other Information
- Fluent Mandarin (Speak, Read & Write Chinese) is mandatory to support communication with certain stakeholders with excellent English communication skills
