Music & Motion Graphics Video Editor
This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.
Our client is a full-service creative and digital marketing agency specializing in high-impact content for the music and entertainment industry. Their in-house creative team produces cinematic-quality videos, graphics, and promotional content for major music festivals and artists, helping clients stand out through exceptional production value and compelling visual storytelling.
Role Overview
The Music & Motion Graphics Video Editor will create high-energy, motion graphics & animation video content for social media, advertising, interviews, and music-focused campaigns. Reporting directly to the Creative Production Manager, this role will focus heavily on the art of editing, using rhythm, timing, pacing, and storytelling to transform raw footage into engaging content.
The ideal candidate is an intuitive and versatile editor who understands how to cut naturally to music, create compelling narratives, and adapt quickly to different creative references and client styles. This is a hands-on creative role for someone equally comfortable editing polished interview content and fast-paced festival montages while maintaining consistently high production standards.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Motion Design
Edit sophisticated, high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Create animations, motion graphics, and visual effects that enhance the overall production.
Produce engaging, fast-paced short-form videos tailored to different social media platforms.
Maintain strong visual and production standards across all deliverables.
Adapt edits according to platform requirements, creative direction, and client expectations.
Music-Driven Editing & Storytelling
Create high-energy montage edits and mini music videos synchronized with music tracks.
Edit festival footage featuring artists, performances, fans, and other elements of the live music experience.
Use rhythm, pacing, timing, and storytelling to create edits that feel natural and engaging.
Make intentional creative cuts that complement the music without relying unnecessarily on complex effects.
Translate the energy and atmosphere of music events into compelling digital content.
Interview & Social Content Editing
Edit interviews and talking-head footage into polished content for social media and promotional use.
Remove unnecessary footage while maintaining clear and compelling narratives.
Improve pacing and structure to keep viewers engaged.
Adapt longer footage into concise, social-ready content where appropriate.
Create social media advertisements and promotional edits aligned with client objectives.
Creative Adaptation
Review client and brand reference videos and accurately translate their style into new edits.
Adapt quickly between different visual approaches, from polished professional interviews to energetic festival montages.
Maintain each client's distinct creative identity across projects.
Incorporate feedback and creative direction efficiently.
Bring fresh ideas to projects while remaining aligned with established creative expectations.
Project Management & Collaboration
Manage active projects and assigned tasks through ClickUp.
Maintain reliable day-to-day communication with the creative team through Discord.
Work closely with the Creative Production Manager to understand project requirements and creative direction.
Implement revisions and feedback quickly and accurately.
Maintain visibility into project status and consistently meet deadlines.
Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, fully remote creative environment.
Qualifications
Experience
Professional experience in video editing, creative production, or a related field.
3 years of proven experience creating fast-paced video content for social media platforms.
Experience editing interviews, talking-head content, advertisements, or music-driven videos.
Very strong portfolio demonstrating short-form social media editing, motion graphics/animation, and music-driven editing, high-quality video editing work.
Experience creating highly engaging Instagram and TikTok content is preferred.
Experience editing within the music or entertainment industry or for established YouTube creators is preferred.
Experience cutting trailers for film, television, or video games is a nice-to-have, not a major requirement.
Experience in another creative or artistic field related to media promotion is a plus.
Skills
Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
Strong understanding of video editing fundamentals, including pacing, rhythm, timing, and visual storytelling.
Ability to synchronize edits effectively with music and create compelling montage-style content.
Strong motion design, animation, and visual effects capabilities.
Ability to edit polished interviews and talking-head content while maintaining engaging pacing.
Strong understanding of short-form social media content and platform-specific editing.
Ability to interpret creative references and reproduce different visual styles accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high production quality.
Comfortable managing projects and deadlines through tools such as ClickUp.
Able to collaborate and maintain reliable communication through remote tools such as Discord.
Able to implement creative feedback efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality.
