Music Therapist

Position Summary/Essential Duties\:1. Assess, develop, implement and evaluate Music Therapy interventions to address the age-specific psychosocial and physiological needs of hospitalized adults and their families2. Plan and implement music therapy groups for inpatients/outpatients/staff3. Evaluate and mentor practicum and internship students as appropriate4. Professional growth, information sharing and collaboration 5. Create and implement innovative ways to secure funding

• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
