Summary
Develops and maintains web applications on the Microsoft stack (.NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server), writing clean code and APIs, designing client- and server-side architecture, testing, debugging, and documenting through the full SDLC while supporting clients and team leads.
Primary skills:
- Must have 2+ years of experience in .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, WPF, WCF, and SQL Server
- Experience in Web services, Web API, REST services, JSON, HTML, CSS3 will be preferred
- Analysing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality
- Must have design experience using best practices, Design Patterns, SDLC, OOP, OOD
- Must be experienced in developing applications using SQL databases, schema, SQL queries
- Experienced in TFS-based version control systems will be preferred.
- Added Advantage - Experience in handling multiple projects
- Added Advantage - Working Experience of React
- Must be skilled in Database constructs, schema design, SQL Server, SQL Queries, Query Optimization.
- Experienced in the full System Development Life Cycle (Dev, Test, Prod)
- Strong analytical, logical skills and team leading skills
- Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Responsibilities
- You will understand requirements from the Team Lead, create and review designs, validate the architecture and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
- 1+ years of experience working with .NET MVC or relevant experiences
- Experience developing web-based applications in C#, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript/ASP, or .NET
- Experience working with MS SQL Server. Knowledge of practices and procedures for full software design life cycle
- Knowledge of MS-Office
