US Consumer Integrated Marketing Strategy
Consultant, US Consumer Integrated Marketing Strategy| I9 (Location: Round Rock)
Dell's consumer marketing strategy, plan and execution is driven across a lot of great teams — media, social, PR, site, email, Rewards, retail — each expert in their own lane. But a customer doesn't experience Dell in lanes. They see one brand, whether they're scrolling a paid ad, opening an email, or standing in front of a retail shelf.
This senior individual contributor role is the connective thread. Based in Round Rock and operating within a senior-led integrated marketing pod with strong exec visibility, you'll own the strategy and integration that ties brand building, consideration creation, and demand conversion together — and keeps customers with us in the years between PC purchases. You won't manage a team, but you will shape how we as a brand show up. And as more of the path to purchase runs through AI agents as well as people, you'll help shape how Dell wins the recommendation in both.
You will:
Own the full-funnel US campaign roadmap. Build and manage the quarterly activation roadmap across brand building, consideration creation, and demand conversion — architecting how message, vehicle, and audience align at every stage. You will decide how it all comes together. Build in both acquisition and retention tactics to grow overall buyer participation, and factor in how customers discover and choose Dell through both people and AI agents.
Lead paid, earned, and owned integration for priority moments, launches, and campaign activations. Partner with vehicle teams to bring it all together as one coordinated activation — and create new activations, like events or cross-channel moments, when the opportunity calls for it. You bring the full picture: our business goals, a creative eye, and deep knowledge of our consumer. Priority moments include key seasonal demand windows like Holiday and Back to School.
Unify direct and retail marketing to win consumer interest. Partner with retail and e-commerce teams to align the direct and retail plans and identify the moments where omnichannel activations can drive high impact.
Create and activate the US Consumer lifecycle and Rewards strategy to grow engagement and long-term retention. Set the strategy for how we keep customers connected to Dell through the 3-4 years between PC purchases, partnering with the email and Rewards teams who execute against it, and integrate that strategy into the broader campaign activation plan.
Skills and experiences you will bring to this role:
Full-funnel marketing expertise. You have deep knowledge of how media mix and creative connect to drive business performance — and you know how to build a roadmap that holds together under pressure.
Lifecycle and retention foundation. You understand what drives repeat purchase, customer loyalty, and database growth. You know how to segment audiences effectively and design targeted engagements that keep customers coming back and expanding into new product lines.
Data-driven with creative instincts. You dig into performance metrics and consumer insights, but you also know how to translate what you're seeing into bold, innovative ideas. You spot patterns, identify whitespace, and craft strategies that break through the noise.
Comfort with autonomy and ambiguity. You thrive when you have freedom to operate and the path forward isn't always clear. You don't wait to be told — you figure it out and move.
A natural connector. You love working across teams and functions. You rally people around an idea, drive alignment across diverse stakeholders, and bring energy and positivity to the work. You challenge the status quo and push ideas forward in a way that brings people along — not over them.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in consumer integrated campaign planning, go-to-market strategy, lifecycle marketing, or related marketing roles
- Experience building and managing consumer go-to-market plans that span paid, earned, and owned channels
- Working knowledge of both direct/e-commerce and retail channels, and experience partnering with the teams that run them
- Strong strategic thinking paired with operational rigor — you can ideate and execute
- Highly organized with a track record of managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
- Proven track record of using data and insights to inform strategy and drive measurable business results
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and outcomes across teams you don't directly own
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and pushing ideas forward across diverse stakeholders
- Thrives in autonomous, fast-paced, collaborative environments where energy and passion fuel progress
