National Account Executive, Coles

Vinarchy. Redefining Wine.

Vinarchy is a global wine company, created through the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers. With iconic brands (including Jacob's Creek, Hardys, and Campo Viejo, Petaluma, Grant Burge Wines, Croser, Stoneleigh, Jam Shed, Brancott Estate, Mud House, St Hugo, St Hallett), global scale and bold ambition, we are redefining how the wine category grows, innovates and stays relevant worldwide.

Innovative, ambitious and imaginative, Vinarchy challenges the conventions of the industry to lead, shape and grow the future of the wine category.

About The Role

We're looking for a commercially-minded National Account Executive to join our high-performing Coles team - the ideal next step for someone who's completed a structured grad program (with a major grocery retailer, or a similar rotation within FMCG) or is currently working as a National Account Assistant/Coordinator, and is ready for more autonomy, deeper customer exposure and a seat at the table on one of the wine category's most important retail partnerships.

Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you'll work closely with our National Account Managers to drive commercial success across Coles, while building direct relationships with Assistant Category Managers and gaining genuine exposure to broader customer discussions - well beyond what you'd typically get in a traditional NAE role. You'll also partner across Sales, Finance, Brand and Category, giving you the kind of well-rounded commercial grounding that fast-tracks a career in Account Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Coles account across key customer initiatives and activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Manage reporting, account administration and commercial processes
  • Support trade spend management, accruals and customer planning
  • Analyse data and provide insights to support customer performance
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Brand and Category
  • Participate in Category Manager discussions and customer reviews
  • Help deliver exceptional execution across one of Vinarchy's largest accounts

What We're Looking For

  • A major retail grad program graduate or someone currently in a National Account Assistant, Coordinator or National Account Executive with FMCG
  • Exposure to customer-facing responsibilities in an FMCG environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational capability
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of business performance drivers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, proactive and self-sufficient working style

Highly Regarded

  • FMCG experience
  • Exposure to Coles, Woolworths or other major retailers
  • Experience with IRI, Synergy or similar tools
  • Category, customer or commercial analysis experience
  • Retail graduate program background

Why Join Us?

  • Fast-track your career within a growing global wine business - a genuine step up from a grad or assistant-level role
  • Work on one of our most strategically important customer partnerships, with support from experienced leaders
  • Build direct customer relationships with Assistant Category Managers and Category Managers
  • Gain significantly more customer exposure than a traditional NAE role offers
  • Develop your commercial capability across Sales, Finance, Brand and Category
  • Choose your base - Sydney or Melbourne
  • Annual wine allowance, Loyalty and Anniversary Leave
  • Hybrid working - 3 days per week in office
