National Acquisitions Manager

As part of the ooba Group’s multi-product growth strategy, a new role has been designed to grow sales revenue and market share through the acquisition of new lead sources across new and existing products.

Based in Cape Town (hybrid) and reporting directly to our ooba Home Loans Head of Sales, the ooba Home Loans Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth at a national level.

Required Qualification & Experience

Matric

5 + years’ business development/sales experience

Previous banking (home loans) and/or real estate experience and existing relationships with industry, i.e. real estate agents, attorney PROs, Portal Relationship Managers, etc., essential

Proven track record of outstanding sales performance in a multi-product environment

Required Skills & Knowledge

Expert sales / business development skills, including market analysis; business planning and opportunity management

Expert relationship management skills

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Strong networking skills

Presenting and public speaking

Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook

Drive growth & acquisitions of new business within ooba Homeloans. Acquisitions & growth would include multiple products offered within ooba Home Loans.

Work closely with the head of sales and ooba provincial sales management to ensure growth of business nationally.

Sourcing new leads for growth including potential consultants, real estate opportunities, developers and potential licensees.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
