National Contract Logistics Real Estate & Facility Manager

How you create impact
You will manage our portfolio of owned + leased properties, lead build projects + support corporate initiatives. You will do this by working with a variety of internal stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:
- To spearhead our real estate + facilities management strategy.
- To develop strategic surface planning in conjunction with our Real Estate Strategy + Contract Logistics development plans.
- To manage warehousing projects, including build-to-suit leases, free hold projects + site consolidation.
- To support the refurbishing of existing + new offices.
- Lead lease negotiations, renewals, extensions, and terminations.
- Review commercial terms and ensure compliance with company policies.
- To pro-actively plan for upcoming lease renewals.
- Maintain landlord relationships and manage tenant-landlord issues.
- Monitor critical lease dates and contractual obligations.
- To monitor + control the implementation/management of our database in the areas of data quality + process Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for approval.
- To oversee sustainability projects + facilities management in line with the global sustainability roadmap.
- To monitor IFM performance and manage the team to ensure the facility is maintained to the expected standards.
- Identify suitable warehouse and distribution center locations based on customer and operational requirements. Conduct market assessments, location studies, and benchmarking. Evaluate facility suitability, accessibility, infrastructure, and expansion potential. Lead site sourcing and site visits with stakeholders.
