National ICT Manager
Salary: $140,000 – $155,000 per year
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead our technology environment, ensuring our systems, infrastructure, and digital services are secure, reliable, and strategically aligned with organisational goals.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives on improving ICT operations and delivering high‑quality service, while guiding and supporting our organisations operations.
The role includes the ICT management of 15 sites nationally including pharmacies and corporate offices along with the management of multiple IT vendors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology strategy — Develop and implement ICT strategies, roadmaps, and improvement initiatives.
Infrastructure & systems management — Oversee networks, servers, cloud environments, business systems, and end‑user technologies.
Cybersecurity & risk — Maintain secure systems, manage risk frameworks, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Vendor & contract management — Manage external partners, SLAs, and procurement of ICT services and solutions.
Project delivery — Lead ICT projects from planning through to implementation and evaluation.
Service delivery — Ensure responsive, customer‑focused ICT support across the organisation.
Policy & governance — Maintain, Develop and implement ICT policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone with strong leadership capability and a passion for delivering reliable, secure technology services. This role is best suited for someone with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems and providing solutions while also remaining hands on with technology.
ITIL certification or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years experience in IT support service desk or similar IT role
Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
Excellent trouble shooting, incident management and problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience in IT Project management, vendor management and co-ordination
The ability to work effectively across a multiple site environment
Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems such as Meraki, Microsoft and Google workspaces.
Experience managing cybersecurity, risk, and compliance frameworks
