JOB SUMMARY:
The National Project Manager oversees multiple projects simultaneously through each phase of the process, from award through installation, for a variety of clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinates with various functional areas, including surveying, estimating, art, manufacturing, and installation to meet project goals and milestones.
- Develops and maintains project schedules and provides regular status updates to keep internal and external stakeholders informed of risks and issues that may impact projects.
- Resolves issues and problems that arise throughout the duration of the project in a quick and efficient manner.
- Escalates issues when project milestones are in jeopardy.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Selects, negotiates, and procures vendors for projects.
- Assists with estimates and quotations as needed.
- Creates and manages change order requests and change orders.
- Creates and processes project-specific purchase orders.
- Maintains accessible and accurate job files for all projects.
- Performs formal project closeouts in a timely manner.
- Handles other tasks as needed to support project management or the Company.
