National Sales Executive - Default Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a National Sales Executive - Default Services based in United States.

This role is an opportunity for an experienced enterprise sales professional to accelerate growth within the mortgage, servicing, and default services ecosystem.
You will build and execute a strategic sales approach targeting major lenders, servicers, and other high-value enterprise accounts.
The position combines new-business development, consultative selling, industry relationship management, and strategic account expansion.
You will leverage an established industry network while creating new opportunities through targeted prospecting, outreach, events, and relationship building.
Success will depend on your ability to understand complex servicing needs and connect them with compelling, value-driven service solutions.
You will work closely with marketing, account management, operations, and other internal teams to ensure strong execution from initial sale through service delivery.

Accountabilities

  • Build and execute a ground-up sales strategy to establish and expand market presence within the refinance and default services space, targeting enterprise lenders, servicers, and individual loan officers.
  • Leverage existing industry partnerships and relationships to identify, qualify, and pursue high-value sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a robust enterprise sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, cold calling, strategic outreach, networking, and relationship development.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations and deliver value-led sales presentations that clearly communicate differentiated solutions and business benefits.
  • Develop structured sales cadences, follow-up strategies, and account engagement plans designed to improve conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, loan officers, and stakeholders across complex lender and servicing organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to secure new contracts, expand existing relationships, and increase revenue from high-value enterprise accounts.
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and other professional forums to strengthen market visibility, generate leads, and expand the professional network.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop sales collateral, refine value propositions, and strengthen go-to-market strategies for the refinance channel.
  • Collaborate with internal account management, operations, and service delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of commitments made during the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, opportunity, and account information within Salesforce and other sales enablement platforms.
  • Ensure sales activities comply with applicable RESPA requirements and maintain high standards of ethical and compliant selling practices.
  • Monitor mortgage market developments, competitive activity, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and inform sales strategy.
  • Requirements

    • Extensive experience in field services, default services, or related sales within the mortgage industry, including experience engaging top-tier clients and enterprise-level lenders or servicers.
    • At least 3 years of direct enterprise sales experience selling service-based offerings such as trustee services, valuations, title, property preservation, or comparable solutions where service quality directly influences retention and significant annual revenue.
    • Proven track record of generating new business through cold calling, enterprise prospecting, discovery conversations, relationship development, and strategic outreach.
    • Established professional network within the mortgage lending, mortgage servicing, default management, or related real estate ecosystem.
    • Demonstrated success cultivating high-value client relationships and securing or expanding complex service agreements.
    • Deep understanding of mortgage operations, real estate services, servicing organizations, default management processes, and market dynamics.
    • Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, particularly senior executives and key decision-makers.
    • Exceptional consultative and solutions-selling capabilities, with a strong focus on understanding customer needs and translating them into measurable business value.
    • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, communication, and client service skills.
    • Working knowledge of RESPA requirements and ethical sales practices across applicable markets.
    • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and modern sales enablement and prospecting tools.
    • Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, account planning, sales cadences, and enterprise sales processes.
    • Highly proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Account-Based Marketing and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities while maintaining disciplined follow-through and accountability.
    • Willingness to participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and other activities required to build relationships and generate business.
