NATS Electrical
1. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) of electrical systems and equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of electrical breakdowns to reduce downtime.
- Maintain and inspect motors, MCC panels, starters, transformers, and LT/HT systems.
- Assist in checking cables, earthing, electrical connections, and panel health.
- Support monitoring of plant utilities (power supply, DG, compressors, etc.).
- Participate in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Maintain daily logs, checklists, and maintenance records.
- Follow electrical safety practices including LOTO, isolation, and PPE compliance.
- Support calibration/inspection of electrical instruments and devices.
2. Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, panels, and wiring.
- Familiar with multimeter, insulation tester, and basic electrical tools.
- Understanding of industrial safety practices.
- Basic exposure to PLC / automation (preferred, not mandatory).
- Good learning attitude and adaptability to plant conditions.
