Natural Adabas Functional Analyst

About the role

Do you have experience in HOST environments and would you like to participate in a project where you can develop your functional analysis and programming skills?

We are looking for a Functional Analyst with knowledge of HOST environments, preferably with experience in Natural and ADABAS, although we will also value profiles with a solid foundation in other HOST programming languages, such as COBOL, and the motivation to learn new technologies.

What you'll do

• Analyze functional requirements and business needs to understand the project's requirements.
• Investigate, collect, and analyze information to respond to user requirements.
• Collaborate in the preparation and maintenance of functional documentation based on instructions from project managers.
• Analyze existing information and propose solutions with the support of the responsible team.
• Work in HOST environments, applying the programming and database knowledge necessary for the project.
• Progressively acquire knowledge of Natural and ADABAS, in case you do not have previous experience in these technologies.

What we're looking for

• Experience or knowledge in HOST environments.
• Analytical and deductive capacity to interpret requirements and understand functional needs.
• Autonomy to investigate, search for information, and analyze documentation.
• Organization, methodology, and initiative.
• Motivation to learn new technologies and adapt to the needs of the project.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with functional and technical managers.

Nice to have

• Programming knowledge in Natural and/or ADABAS, especially valued.
• We will also value profiles with experience in COBOL or other programming languages in a HOST environment, even if they have not worked directly with Natural/ADABAS.

What you'll get

Hybrid modality, with 2 days on-site in Madrid and the rest remote.

Opportunity to expand knowledge in Natural and ADABAS, if your previous experience comes from other HOST technologies.

Modality: Hybrid, with 2 days on-site and 3 days of teleworking. On-site presence may be adapted to the needs of the project.
