Natural Resources Program Manager (Interdisciplinary) (Temporary)
You will serve as a Natural Resources Program Manager (Interdisciplinary) (Temporary). This position serves as a principal advisor in the management of natural resources and is responsible for program development and implementation. This is a temporary position expected to last NTE 1 Year but may be extended up to a maximum of two years based on agency needs and potential funding. Open to the first 50 applicants or until 08/18/2026 whichever comes first.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Conducts and supervises a program of data collection related to air quality, water quality, climate science, contaminated lands, soundscapes, light pollution, meterology Maintains sampling equiptment and ensures the quality of samples Responsible for spatial and tabular data management related to physical science Summarizes data and conducts statistical analysis to assist in the preparation of reports and publications Advises Park managers on technical issues and compliance with applicable law and policy related to NEPA, Clean Air and Water Acts, and NPS and DOI Policies.
