Installation and Service Technician

Reports to: Digital Graphics / Installation & Service Supervisor

Salary: $50k - $60k

Position Purpose

The person in this position will provide installation, repair, training and demos for our large format printers, vinyl cutting plotters and other digital graphics printing & production equipment. The service area consists of different regions across North Carolina, South Carolina, and New Jersey. Occasional travel to other territories may be required.

Essential Job Responsibilities - Performance Indicators

  • Install large format digital graphics printing & production equipment
  • Resolve service tickets in a timely and professional manner, meeting service level agreements
  • Maintain updated service completion status of each job with Installation & Service Supervisor
  • Provide demos of equipment to customers and prospective clients
  • Provide training of equipment to customers
  • Develop & maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for existing customers
  • Provide high quality and timely Technical Support Desk customer service support to internal & external customers with low complaint and error rates
  • Forward any important client information, including sales leads and customer satisfaction issues, to the Installation & Service Supervisor
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds when installing equipment

Additional Requirements

This position involves working with high-end equipment & parts and the use of your personal vehicle (with the inclusion of a reimbursement program). A clean criminal background check, a clean three-year driving history and no DWIs is required for insurance purposes.
