YOUR TASKS
- Provide air uplift and international trucking infrastructure, which supports local and network service objectives and standards
- Ensure services remain cost-effective through effective management and continuous improvement of optimal airline and trucking cost
- Establish contingency plans for Linehaul uplift
- Conduct continuous quantitative planning and analysis to achieve a balance between transit time requirements, Linehaul service performance and cost management targets
- Coordinate cargo space bookings and flight scheduling in accordance with the needs and requirements of local and regional accounts
- Forecasting volumes
- Make contingency plans and decisions to maintain uninterrupted service when needed
- Handle large airfreight quotations and movement
- Support specific customers with specific requirements
- Establish the flight scheduling and allocation to ensure timely air transportation of shipments
- Build up and maintain good relationship with line haul suppliers
- Liaise with Commercial team to understand customers’ requirement
- Establish the most profitable contract with line haul and road haul suppliers
- Analyse cost trend on road transportation and CAL CPK and take corrective action to maintain agreed cost expenditure in accordance with AOP
- Review and analyze Truck/flight movement data and reports to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities in On Time Performance.
- Participate in dialogues, discussions and meetings with stakeholders, Airlines and Ground Handlers
- Oversee timely and accurate payment to Airlines and Ground Handlers
- To work on cost management for Airlines and Ground Handlers related cost
- Oversee day to day Transportation Team's operations to ensure all activities are executed accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with organizational requirements
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions /actions
- • Conduct monthly performance reviews in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- • Manage team performance and operational KPIs, providing guidance and corrective action where necessary to maintain service quality

YOUR PROFILE
• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• At least Degree or equivalent and above
• Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
