Job Description:
Using Non Destructive equipment such as EMI and UT, NDT Operators will ensure the pipe or casing is free of imperfections. NDT Operators are responsible for assuring the NDT equipment is set up to assure we meet our quality standards as well as following Quality procedures
Responsibilities:
• Properly set up and calibrate equipment
• Maintain inspection equipment
• Changeover equipment
• Verify Inspection standards are still expectable
• Able to read Inspection chart and determine good or bad
• Communicating quality issues to quality supervisor and production
• Prep NDT reject samples in lab
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Education: High School or equivalent. 40 hour UT course or 28 Hour EMI course
Years of Experience: 120+ hours of NDT experience with certifications
