Your Mission:
The NDT Supervisor oversees and coordinates all non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality inspection activities for defense (DOD NAVSEA), Army, and commercial projects. This role ensures that inspections are performed in compliance with military specifications, industry standards, and company quality procedures. The NDT Supervisor manages inspection personnel, maintains NDT equipment, reviews documentation, and provides technical guidance to ensure project compliance and high-quality standards.
Explore the Depth of the Role:
- NDT Level III certification (ASNT or equivalent) strongly preferred; Level II certification in multiple NDT methods may be acceptable with supervisory experience.
- Proven supervisory experience in NDT and quality inspection for defense, government, and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of NAVSEA, Army, and commercial standards/specifications (e.g., MIL-STD, MIL-PRF, ASTM, AWS D1.1/D1.5).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical documents.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with QA documentation and reporting software.
