1、3D CAD Design & Engineering:
Use Creo 3D CAD software to design and create mechanical sheet metal and plastic components as well as assemblies for new and existing products. Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet performance specifications.
2、Prototype Development & Assembly:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, assemble, and test physical prototypes. Apply hands-on skills to modify, troubleshoot, and optimize designs using various tools and manufacturing methods.
3、Product Analysis & Simulation:
Conduct product analysis simulations (e.g., structural integrity testing, thermal analysis, kinematics) using appropriate tools to validate mechanical designs and identify potential issues early in the development process.
4、Point-of-Sale Product Experience:
Utilize knowledge of POS terminal hardware to ensure compatibility and seamless integration of mechanical components into POS systems. Support the design and modification of hardware to enhance functionality and durability in POS environments.
5、Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with electrical engineers and industrial designers to ensure product designs meet all functional requirements and are optimized for production and customer use.
6、Continuous Improvement:
Suggest and implement improvements in design and assembly processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
7、Documentation & Reporting:
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, assembly instructions, and test results. Present design concepts and analysis findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
8、Quality Control & Testing:
Participate in hands-on testing of prototypes and final products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve design or manufacturing issues.
