Description
【Key Responsibilities】
Plant Monitoring & Data Management
- Extract, validate, and manage data from SCADA and solar plant monitoring systems.
- Ensure data quality and consistency, including identifying missing, incorrect, or abnormal data points.
- Monitor multiple solar power plant monitoring systems across different brands and identify abnormal power generation or system behavior.
Performance Analysis
- Analyze key plant performance indicators, including:
o Performance Ratio (PR)
o Plant availability
o Outages and operational events
- Track performance trends across multiple projects and identify potential operational risks.
Advanced Technical Diagnostics
- Utilize IV curve analysis, generation data comparison, and system data analysis to identify technical abnormalities (e.g., string faults, shading issues, inverter failures).
- Identify root causes of issues and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Flag anomalies such as PR deviations, abnormal outages, or unexpected performance drops.
Reporting & Visualization
- Prepare clear and structured technical reports for internal teams, clients, and maintenance partners.
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to support the Asset Management (AM) team.
- Generate automated reports to reduce manual data processing and improve operational efficiency.
Data Infrastructure & Automation
- Support the team in data structure improvement and automation initiatives.
- Develop tools or scripts to automate data queries, analysis workflows, and reporting processes.
Plant Lifecycle Data Management
- Plan and implement a “plant profile” system to track equipment configuration, maintenance history, and performance changes throughout the plant lifecycle.
Technical Innovation
- Explore and introduce AI tools and digital technologies to strengthen fault detection, predictive analysis, and operational insights.
【Requirements】
Technical Knowledge
- Solid understanding of solar power plant design fundamentals and operational principles.
- Familiarity with plant performance indicators such as PR, availability, and outages.
System Experience
- Hands-on experience with SCADA or solar monitoring systems.
(e.g., Thingnario, AUO monitoring systems, or similar platforms)
Data Analysis Skills
- Strong data analysis capability using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
- Ability to translate raw operational data into meaningful insights.
Troubleshooting Experience
- Experience diagnosing solar plant operational issues and identifying root causes.
- Candidates may be asked to share relevant project experience during the interview process.
Working Style
- Structured, detail-oriented, and capable of handling large operational datasets.
